Adrien Coelho

Adrien Coelho is a renowned hair salon based in Brussels. When we started working together, their space was being renovated (by Atelier Dynamo) with great attention paid to the materials.

Raw materials. Concrete, wood, metal. This was our inspiration for the visual identity. We went for a minimalistic logo, enriched by a set of textures (we focused on wood) to create a coherent visual universe around the experience you get when you go to Adrien Coelho for a haircut. The textures were used as background images for the printed documents (price lists, business cards, etc) and we created a laser cut wood signage for their window to complete the panel.

They later opened a beauty salon and we worked together on adapting the concept for their new space : wood was replaced by concrete and used as texture for printed documents, again, and we experimented with concrete (sort of, but it’s our secret ingredient) for the window signage as well.

We are happy to say that our long-term work relationship continues to this day.
